Join the Wings for Life World Run and Help Support Spinal Cord Injury Research
On Sunday, 7th May at 3pm, Expo City Dubai will host the highly anticipated Wings for Life World Run. An event taking place in more than 200 locations around the globe.
This unique, global event invites participants from all walks of life to come together in support of spinal cord injury research by running or walking for those who are unable to.
Leading the call for participation in this year’s Dubai edition are two inspiring athletes. Emirati Red Bull athlete Mohammed Balooshi and Wings for Life World Run ambassador Ghada Shaikli, a UAE-based athlete and two-time Guinness World Record holder.
Both champions will be taking part and giving their support to encourage the community to participate in this life-changing event.
“Its not just a race; it’s a powerful testament to human perseverance and the unyielding belief that we can overcome any obstacle. This is an event where your participation can literally change lives and bring hope to those affected by spinal cord injuries,” says Balooshi.
Since its inception in 2014, the event has attracted over 700,000 participants from 195 nations. It has raised more than AED120 million for groundbreaking research projects.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to come together as a community and support an important cause.
