Ramadan night market to feature free daily iftar tents, Majlis lounge areas, kiosks, roaming entertainment,
A night market will be held at Souk Al Marfa at Deira Islands starting from 8 pm to 2 am from 01st to 30th April to mark Ramadan. Â
A free iftar tent will be available every day from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for 150 people as part of the market’s daily program, and from 8 pm onwards it will become a food hall. Over 35 kiosks selling Ramadan-related products like oud perfumes, sweets, dates, and more will line the night market’s Majlis tents, where Arabic sweets can also be found.  Â
Additionally, the outdoor area of the destination offers roaming entertainment such as Egyptian folklore, Arabic dances, musical performances as well as indoor activities such as face painting, arts and crafts and more. There will also be a dedicated outdoor play area for kids to enjoy.
Souk Al Marfa currently operates over 950 shops, and another 200 are slated to open soon, including carpets, lights, spices, fashion, electronics, and the original Thai and Persian markets.
From Monday through Thursday, Souk Al Marfa is open from 12 p.m. to midnight, from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
