The smart app by RTA is launched on a 3 months trial basis
The latest announcement by RTA revealed that it has collaborated with arcab to launch a digital platform for ‘medium-sized’ buses. Over the years, Dubai has new improvement projects and more upgrades to inter-Emirate travel in Dubai.
The smart app by RTA is being launched on a trial basis for a duration of three months.
The trial digital platform will feature information on two bus routes, including one between International City, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Jebel Ali Free Zone. The other is between International City and Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
The service will be extended to 12 other districts in Dubai after the trial period of 3 months. The digital platform is designed to meet the demand for bus services.
It should feature bus timings, predicted arrival times and more. The platform is expected to ensure a smooth, safe and time-efficient commute for travellers across several spots throughout Dubai.
RTA also offers a range of other public transport facilities across Dubai. This includes smart services, e-hailing, shared transport and bus-on-demand services.
