Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the reopening of three major Dubai Metro stations starting Mat 19.
The Onpassive, Equiti, and Mashreq stations, which were temporarily shut due to maintenance works, will resume operations after almost a month of closure.
The reopening follows the completion of rigorous testing and maintenance procedures carried out by the RTA in collaboration with Keolis-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the company responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Dubai Metro.
Authorities have meticulously examined every aspect of the stations’ functionality, from platform doors and escalators to power supply and train frequency, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

The Energy Metro Station, another key transit point, is also expected to resume operations before the end of May, further strengthening the city’s transportation network.
The reopening of these stations is set to alleviate congestion on alternative routes and offer commuters a more convenient and efficient means of navigating the city.
The RTA will also continue to operate metro feeder bus services in tandem with the metro’s schedules.
As Dubai continues to invest in its infrastructure and transportation systems, initiatives such as this underscore the city’s commitment to ensuring a sustainable and accessible urban environment for its residents and visitors alike.
