On Friday, 1st November, Sea Fu at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach invites guests to embark on a unique cultural journey with Kihō Saisei, a special tea ceremony event celebrating both Japanese heritage and sustainability. This one-night-only event promises to immerse attendees in the beauty of ancient Japanese traditions, complete with serene ocean views and Sea Fu’s renowned sustainable philosophy.

Starting at 7:30 PM, guests will be welcomed into a tranquil setting, where they can experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Dressed in elegant yukatas, guests will enjoy the soothing sounds of the koto, a Japanese stringed instrument, creating a serene ambiance reminiscent of Japan’s peaceful tea gardens.

A highlight of the evening is their thoughtful nod to sustainability. Each guest will receive a handcrafted coaster made from upcycled kimonos, breathing new life into these traditional Japanese garments and adding a personal touch to the ceremony. This gesture reflects Sea Fu’s commitment to merging cultural beauty with environmentally conscious practices.

In partnership with Japan Style, a brand celebrated for its vintage kimonos and upcycled fashion, the event will showcase an exquisite collection of kimono dresses, showcasing vibrant colours and intricate patterns. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a Yukata dressing and Obi tying demonstration, adding an authentic cultural experience to the evening.

Chef de Cuisine, Marcel Finsterer, will prepare a special set menu featuring carefully curated Japanese dishes, honouring seasonal ingredients and Sea Fu’s dedication to sustainability. The menu includes one appetizer, one main course, and one dessert, with an à la carte menu also available for added variety.
